We started last week with lots of rain and ended it with freezing temperatures and frost. Here are some photos from the week!

I’ve been so happy that my calendula has continued to grow and bloom all Fall… I hope the frost didn’t end that. They are so wet and dirty this time of year! Also… Zoe was chewing her cud… It cracks me up when I catch photos of mid chew!!Chesney, our long-haired dachshund loves to help me with farm chores… He knows the routines and the order I do things! The alpacas think he’s a baby alpaca and always want to sniff and nose tap (kiss!) him…sheep do not like him and try to ram the fence. This time they curious… I call that a win!!Chesney loves his big brothers and is always lying with one of them if he can’t find a human lap!The alpaca chickens. Their chicken run gets so wet and soggy on the rainy days so I let them out to play in the alpaca field a few times a week… They love pecking and scratching and kicking around the leaves! So many treats in the dirt!!!Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fiber Freshness! One of our homestead-made products…. The balls are made from alpaca fiber and sheep wool.
