August Market Sneak Peek #11

I’m so excited about this morning’s sneak peek. Cate Florey of Cate Florey Studio will be joining us with her hand-stamped jewelry.

I met Cate at the Stanwood Camano Community Fair last year – shortly after we got our alpacas. Her daughters were part of 4H alpaca group there, and Cate was spinning on her spinning wheel. I knew I had a million questions but I couldn’t even think about what they were! This is where the extroverts of my family (Carson and Shaleigh) are so good for me… they simply asked what she was doing… and in a matter of moments, we’d covered about five topics that we have in common, and she’d agreed to teach me to spin at her studio!

And oh my goodness… her studio is a maker/farm girl heaven! What a glorious place to spend time! We haven’t spent a lot of time together in the past year, but she will always hold a special place in my heart as one of the people who set me on the starting line of this homesteading journey.

Cate is joining the market for the first time this month, and will be stamping her jewelry on-site with your words while you wait. Watch as she creates your one-of-a-kind, unique piece of jewelry. Her sterling silver stackable rings are very popular and she will be hand-stamping them as well!
