What can I say? It slipped through the cracks… \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always send out a holiday card with a family picture… something to show how we’ve changed and how the kids have grown. In the past, we’ve included farm animals, the barn, our Christmas tree, Shaleigh’s doll that she called her baby brother and made me carry around in public, cute smiling kids… so many things. This year, not so much. We’ve been busy… the month got away from me… does the Covid excuse still work?! I don’t know… and I can’t list all of the excuses. Holiday cards is one of my favorite parts of this season… I love to see all of the families and scenery and I love to hear from people that I don’t get to hear from at other times in the year. I don’t have a card this year. I’m sad about it, and I’m sorry… but hopefully this post will work as a substitute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Shaleigh helped at the birth of a mini-schnauzer litter and here they are feeding the runt of the litter, Laci<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>

    The schnauzer litter \ud83d\ude42<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>

    The babies grew so much week to week<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>

    Some of you might have guessed that we ended up bringing one of the schnauzer babies home – Meet Mary Clare (aka Mare)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>

    Shaleigh says I’m Mare’s Grandma… I guess if Shaleigh is her mom, then I am her Grandma, but… ummmm…<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>
  • \"\"
    Waiting for the babies at the school bus stop – the biggest development in our year, we have school school kids, instead of home school kids!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>

    Christmas tree hunting… the kids were super grumpy, but we ended up with a beautiful tree from our friends’ tree farm in town<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>
